If you go to firehouse and ask for smoke detectors, reply instead of them handing them out I was ask for ny address and they would come out to install them. My point is if a concern citizen has fears because of the fires they should be glad one comes to them for help. FIREHOUSE
should be willing to help. BEST BET TO BUY THEM YOURSELF

I am finding it difficult to understand the grammer but I will try to formulate a response.

In my experience, the Coatesville Fire Dept provides smoke detectors to residents free of charge. Historically, the firefighters take a name and address and come out to your home the same day if not immedietely, depending on there availability. The FD does not normally just give them out because they do not always wind up where they are supposed to. One could only imagine what would happen if they were just handed out to whomever walked in the door. It is also important to realize that they must be installed properly in the right location.

The program likely will be run all over the city at different times. If someone needs a smoke detector call 610-384-0300 x3111 or visit a fire station.

This sounds like they are doing something to stop it but this is a cover. Start making a game plan that will actually stop this.
If it were your family there would be more done than knocking on doors to see if you smoke detector works.
I live in the city and no one has asked me or provided me with anything.

Coatesville Police need to get on this case and Walker needs to stop lying trying to cover things up. Word is getting around that gangs are starting the fires as a part of the initiaion process. But the most important detail that is being left out is that this is a hate group! Yes this is a gang of skinheads setting the fires in Coatesville. Stand up citizens of Coatesville, inform yourself. And make the public servants that you elected serve you before more people are killed by these racists nutcases.

These fires are terriable, one life has been taken, hopefully these cowards will be caught. As far as Walker or Matthews...they don't know what they are doing and never have. Maybe now they will leave or council might get some sense and fire them!!

The 2 or 3 children that died on 2nd Avenue, was that fire a part of this arson thing? Is that around the time that all of this started?

I don't think the skinheads are setting these fires because they will stand out like a sore thumb. Remember you can't judge a book by it's "cover".

No one seems to be talking about it but IMHO YES, THE 3 CHILDREN WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WERE MURDERED BY AN ARSONIST! It was obvious from the very beginning that the fire was started on the back porch. They tried to say it was their outdoor grill which was used earlier that day for the oldest victims birthday party. That grill was in use hours before the arson.
