Reorganization Meeting Today at 3 p.m.
City Council will hold a reorganization meeting today at 3 p.m. in City Hall. The DA's crime plan and Chief Matthews' performance may be informally brought up by council. This is not a regular council meeting. The next regular council meeting will be Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

This meeting will be to decide who will be the council president and vice president for this year. IF they are going to make any changes. I hope they do!
They need to really catch all these arsonists, they are destroying the town one house at a time. Some of those burned out homes are going to just sit there now and look ugly. If this isn't a reason to make someone scared and want to move out I don't know what is.
Maybe anonymous has a point. Is this arsonist trying to get people to move out or is it just a game? Clearly this is a troubled person where they get a charge out of setting fires that can kill and they do it in the middle of the night.
The people starting the fires need to be stopped. Notice I said people. I firmly believe that it is a bunch of copy cat arsonists that have nothing better to do with their time than try to out think the police and fire department. I wish people would be willing to turn in these people. Most "kids" have big mouths, and don't realize the seriousness of the crimes.
