Goodbye Walker, Hello Reed
City Council officially terminated Harry Walker from the city manager position Monday night and appointed Wayne G. "Ted" Reed as interim city manager for one year.
Reed, a former city manager from 1987-1991, will begin work for the city on Feb. 16.
Residents at the meeting applauded these decisions.
The city now has a new leader of administration. Finally.

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!
"DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD THE WITCH OLD WITCH THE WICKED WITCH".
Yeah, hurray, going back to the old way of doing things...There is a winning plan.
what will be interesting is to see what, if anything, he will be accountable for. I know the taxpayers of Coatesville will be waiting for any findings from the audit. Pack your bags, Harry. The bus is waiting, but don't leave the country. Someone may need to talk to you. It's now time to dispose of any other unnecessary fluff in City Hall.
Mark my words: he'll pack his bag throw them into the trunk of his BMW and slither out of town under the cover of darkness.
he may slither away during the darkness, but he can still be found. Heaven help the next victim he decides to scope in on. What about those who were part of the block? Any chance they may be implicated in any wrong-doing? Time will tell.
Walker presently drives a jaguar, not a BMW.
Ted Reed will do a great job for this city.I have had the opportunity to work with him in the past and have always been impressed, congrats on a really good choice!
It would be nice if the city would press legal charges on Walker and Matthews to recoup all the money spent on them while they were not doing what their contracts told them they must!
I believe they call it breach of contract?
