Fleetwood Street demolition plans move forward
Assistant City Manager Kirby Hudson provided an update to City Council Monday night about plans to demolish homes affected by arson in the 300 block of Fleetwood Street.
The county has signed off on a $250,000 grant for the project. The property owners have been provided three options.
These homes are an eyesore for the city and a reminder of one of the most devastating arsons last year. Maybe it's time for the demolition project to move forward. What do you think?

It is not so much because it is a reminder the homes need to be demolished, it is the fact that they are unsafe and one is actually providing shelter for crackheads looking for a place to smoke.
That, plus there is another drug house on Fleetwood, with young people in and out all night long. Maybe something can be done about THAT too!
